ANSI/OSHA Labels & Signs

ANSI [American National Standards Institute] is a private non-profit organization that oversees the development of voluntary consensus standards for products, services, processes, systems, and personnel in the Unites States. These standards depict and explain the unique properties that can alert people to hazards in the workplace and at home. Though ANSI itself does not develop standards, the Institute oversees the development and use of standards by accrediting the procedures of standards developing organizations. Both ANSI 1967 and ANSI Z535-2011 (R2017) formats are now OSHA compliant forms of safety and hazard communication.

Lordon provides both Signs and Labels to suit all your identification needs.

The American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) mission is to promote and facilitate voluntary consensus standards and conformity assessment systems throughout the United States.

OSHA is part of the United States Department of Labor. Their mission is to ensure safe and healthful working conditions for workers by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education, and assistance.

Almetek complies with the guidelines of both organizations. We provide ANSI/OSHA signs and labels for many different industries. Our products warn employees of potential hazards while also informing them of best practices in the worksite.

Almetek products display the ANSI compliant headers to signify the level of hazard. DANGER, WARNING, CAUTION, NOTICE
